Pathos is currently accepting submissions for the Fall 2012 issue.  E-mail your art and writing to submittopathos@gmail.com.  You must be a current PSU student to submit and the deadline is May 15th.

Pathos Open House

In an attempt to raise awareness of the magazine, we will be holding an open house on Wednesday February 8th from 4-6 P.M. at the Simon Benson House (on campus right across the park blocks from Smith). It’s a great opportunity to learn more about the magazine and meet the editorial staff! There will be music, refreshments, and readings from the artists. We can’t wait to see all you hip cats there!

Fall 2011 issue to hit stands in January

Thanks to everyone who submitted work for our Fall 2011 issue. We are extremely happy with the quality of the art and writing this time around, and the magazine is starting to shape up nicely. Look for it on PSU’s campus in early January. And don’t forget—it’s not too early to submit work for the next issue! Email pathos@pdx.edu to be considered for publication.

New issue, deadline for Winter issue

The new issue of Pathos is on campus newsstands now!  We are incredibly proud of this issue and cannot wait to get started on the next.  The deadline for art and writing submissions is November 1, 2011.  Please email pathos@pdx.edu with your prose, poetry, photography, drawing, ruminations, etc. to be considered for our next issue.

Write to Publish!

Pathos will be at Ooligan Press’ Write to Publish conference on Sunday, May 22.  Come see us for more information about the magazine, submission guidelines, and how to get involved!  The entry is $10 for a chance to meet with published authors, editors, and agents and, of course, to check out the Pathos booth!  For more information, see Write to Publish on the web here.  Pathos will be part of the “Open house Day,” the second day of the conference.
