Well before Johnny Depp and Benicio del Toro recreated the precarious, tense and mostly excessive friendship between Gonzo journalist Hunter S. Thompson and attorney Oscar Zeta Acosta in Terry Gilliam’s realization of “Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas”, comedic actors Bill Murray and Peter Boyle brought life to this tension in “Where the Buffalo Roam”.

My name is Kyle Williams and i am a current student at Portland State
I was inquiring about the visual art submission, I have a lot of art and photography that i would be interested in submitting
I just wanted to see what type of art you are looking for or if there is a theme that you would like to see. If you cant tell me what you are looking for i would be more then happy to send you samples of my work.

Hi Kyle!
Thanks for writing! To answer your question, we take art and writing of all kinds. If you have some pieces that you would like to submit, please do! We review every submission that we recieve, and we always love getting more work. Submit to pathos@pdx.edu if you are still interested. And, of course, please write if you have any additional questions.
Thanks again!

Hi ally
I don’t believe the email address link works for me for some reason. Ive tried sending emails to pathos@.pdx.edu and it does not go through.
Does pathos have another email address that i can send my art to?
Kyle,
We have the email back up an running. Sorry for the issues that you encountered!
Thanks,
Ally
when will the release party be for the summer issue?
Hi Sam!
We are shooting for an early August release (party). A few of our editorial staff are on vacation and thus we are holding off for a few more weeks. Once we nail down a date it will be posted both here on the blog and on our Facebook page.
Cheers!

Hey Ally,
Does pathos have an physical address on campus, office, meeting space etc.?
I have had a few questions and I realized I have no contact information for you guys, no phone # or anything. Do you only operate via email?
Hi Erin!
Pathos does have an office on campus, but it is sometimes hard to say when the editors are in. Your best bet is, as you suggested in your comment, to email pathos@pdx.edu. Feel free to post any questions on here as well; every time a comment is posted we are notified via email, and thus a response form us usually fairly speedy.
Hope this helps!
